Player Two Required

He thinks he's found his Player Two. She disagrees.

Cora Mills has problems: a four-year-old daughter fixated on reptiles, a deadbeat ex, and a precarious bank balance.

When her rich, hot boss proposes marriage out of the blue, she isn't tempted. As a single mom and personal assistant to game studio CEO Anders Anderson III, she's got enough on her plate without adding ‘trophy wife’ to her resumé.

Having fled life as a Wisconsin dairy farmer, Anders has built a game studio from nothing through hard work and impeccable logic. If he'd stopped the first time he'd heard 'no', he'd still be back in a barn. So when Cora turns him down, he sets out to debug her heart.

Between his artisanal chocolates, her matchmaking daughter determined on a new dad, and a studio that might be one failed game away from disaster, Cora's organised life is about to crash.

But is love logical? Or in the game of hearts, do players have to follow emotions instead of a marriage algorithm?
